By fifteen, Jo was already captivating Sydney audiences with her uncanny ability to channel powerhouse icons such as Barbra Streisand, Liza Minnelli and Judy Garland.

In her twenties, Jo took her talents to Tennessee, USA, where she opened a singing school that nurtured young performers who continue to thrive as recording artists today. Her vocal prowess earned her the honour of recording and performing for then–President Bill Clinton. Returning to Australia, she brought her expertise to the legendary Johnny Young Talent Team, shaping the next generation of homegrown stars.

Her thirties marked Jo’s triumphant return to the stage, starring in a celebrated Shirley Bassey tribute and producing dynamic children’s shows, including The Blues Bros. Jnr, where she delivered unforgettable performances of Aretha Franklin’s Respect and Think.

Throughout her forties, Jo continued to dominate the club circuit, performing in acclaimed duos and refining her craft as a vocalist, dancer and actress.
