Faded Genes Duo are a Central Coast duo with many years experience performing in clubs and pubs. They have superior backing tracks and deliver a live band sound, specialising in Aussie 80s pub music, as well as a huge repertoire of other popular songs

Lead singer Lance Rice has over 40 years experience in the industry and has a great rock voice and is able to belt out vocals in songs from artists including Cold Chisel, John Farham, The Screaming Jets, INXS and The Angels to name just a few. 

 

Guitarist Steve Hinchey is an exceptional guitarist. He was given a guitar at twelve and found his purpose in life. Learning classical guitar during his teens and being involved in everything from choir performance to rock, metal and funk bands over a varied musical career has given him a broad appreciation of good music and entertainment. Having studied musicianship at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and gaining a Contemporary Music Certificate at the Australian Institute of Music, playing and writing in original and cover bands, sharing stages with Aussie music luminaries Phil Emmanuel, Craig Calhoun and Liza Ohlback as well as many high profile supports.
